Banks not always the best for local credit card processing in Denver

I just met with a large merchant who processes hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit cards each month.  I thought that going to his bank would be the best solution for credit card processing in Denver.  Just like his business they were big and they were his bank so he figured he would receive the cheapest rate.

In the credit card processing world, this is not the case in most instances.  Banks usually have bigger spreads because of large overhead.  Not only do I work with the same processing companies that the big banks do, but I don’t have the big overhead costs nor spreads, so the savings are passed on to you!  This particular merchant had savings in the thousands!!!
